When calling into the Main Gate to register a guest, provide the mutual and unit number, which will let Security locate an electronic record and input the guest information.  To verify identity, a Security officer will ask for the resident’s name and the answer to a confidential question that only he or she will know.  Residents must also provide the guest’s name and time of arrival.

Residents have the following options for their guests:

  • In and Out
    • This option allows guests to come in and out of the community throughout the day until 11 p.m.  This is for family members or contractors who may need to intermittently leave the community to purchase goods, go out for lunch, or simply run an errand.  It eliminates the need to call numerous times for the dame day.
  • Directions
    • This alerts Security that the guest will need directions to the resident’s unit.  Security staff will direct guest using the Leisure World map and give them a copy to take with them.
  • After 11 p.m.
    • Annual guest passes are not valid after 11 p.m. so residents will have to call Security if guests are expected between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.
  • Additional Days
    • Residents may keep quests registered for entry up to 30 consecutive days.
      • Security requires that guest have a resident’s last name, first name, mutual and unit numbers when they arrive at the Main Gate.
      • If the guests arrive without all the information, they will have to come into the Security office while staff confirms their visit with the Leisure World resident.
  • Which Gate To Use
    • Guests who do not have guest passes are required to enter through the Main Gate.  If they attempt to enter the St. Andrews Gate or the North Gate, they will be re-directed to the Main Gate.
    • The satellite gates are only for vehicles with valid resident/employee decals or persons with guest and services passes
  • Visitor Pet Restrictions
    • Mutual Policy 7501 restricts non-residents visitors and guests from bringing pets into the community, Residents should let guests know in advance that they will have to make arrangement with an offsite pet sitter or kennel.
  • Member Vehicle Decals
    • Member must have current vehicles resident decals.  The Security Office issues decals seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., except on rainy days.  If decals are expired, Security officers will provide a courtesy notice.
